Display Screen Equipment Safety and Assessment

Outlines the requirements of the Regulations.  Delegates carry some actual risk assessment using our own DSE assessment template

Extinguisher Training (not including practical) Without creating a fire, we explain what fire extinguishers are used for, how they operate, and where they should be Half day

IOSH Managing Safely - Approved Assessing and controlling risks; understanding responsibilities and hazards; investigating incidents; measuring performance and protecting our environment.   A 25 question, multiple-format assessment paper and risk assessment based project.  When you pass, you’ll be awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate 3 days
IOSH Managing Safely Refresher - Approved

This course is designed to provide continued support to managers dealing with health and safety issues at work, with emphasis on a Plan-Do-Check-Act safety management system.  Delegates must have completed IOSH Managing Safely

IOSH Working Safely - Approved Introducing working safely; defining hazard and risk; identifying common hazards; improving safety performance and protecting our environment. Delegates are evaluated using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise.  On completion, delegates receive the IOSH Working Safely certificate and/or the IOSH Safety Passport as proof of qualification 1 day
Manual Handling Outlines the requirements of the Regulations and how to carry out a suitable risk assessment using HSE’s excellent MAC Tool Half day

Supervising Food Safety Level 3

Perfect for those responsible for managing food safety businesses with specific responsibility for HACCP compliance and staff awareness training.  A 2 hour written test concludes the course.  It covers microbiology, food contamination hazards and controls, food poisoning and foodborne disease, personal hygiene, storage/temperature control and food spoilage and preservation

Working at Height

Mechanical elevated work platforms, ladders, scaffolds and roof work: what are the safety hazards, and what controls are needed to reduce the risk of serious injury?  We offer suitable risk assessment checklists, work permits, and confirm the external competent training required in certain circumstances
