The UK Continental Shelf provides more than half of the UK's oil & gas demand. Oil & gas will continue to provide two thirds of the total primary energy supply by 2035, according to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
The UK upstream oil & gas industry, together with its extensive supply chain, is spread throughout Britain.
