Covering more topics and locations than ever before, 2015 is shaping up to be our busiest year for training yet.

Shared parental leave is a hot topic right now. It’s not yet in force but is already causing headaches for employers who struggle to understand the qualifying criteria and the complicated notification rules. So we’ve scheduled a Focus On Family Friendly Rights workshop for 11th February (Glasgow) and 12th February (Edinburgh). We’ll take you through the new rules and use some case studies to ensure you leave with a good grasp of the key points. We’ll also give you a toolkit to take away including a template policy, guidance note and letters.

In 2014 we launched our Employment Law Masterclass and it was a roaring success. So we’re repeating it in Glasgow, this time at The Corinthian, on 24th February 2015. And in response to client requests, we will also be rolling out the Masterclass at the Stirling Court Hotel on 25th February 2015.

The Masterclasses will cover:

  • Dismissing for “some other substantial reason”
  • Organisational restructure
  • Update on equality and HR
  • Social media hotspots.

With Employment Law Updates; Tackling Difficult Conversations; Health & Safety Updates; IOSH Managing Safely and Reducing Sickness Absence, the first half of 2015 has something for everyone.
