Employment Law & HR

Do you feel like the ever-increasing volume of employment law rules and regulations are driving you bananas?

Why not ape Kaoru Otsuka, the owner of a restaurant in Tokyo who has found a r-evolutionary way of avoiding staffing headaches- by training his pet monkeys to become waiters in his restaurant. The macaque monkeys, Yat-chan and Fuku-chan, serve customers with drinks and hot towels in exchange for boiled soya beans. For those of you who are animal lovers, don’t worry- Japanese animal welfare authorities have visited the restaurant to ensure that the animals are not being mistreated. It really is a jungle out there folks!
