It’s official! Law At Work has been recognised by the Great Place to Work® Institute UK as one of the best small workplaces in Scotland.
LAW won a highly coveted third place award, storming up the rankings following its ninth place win last year. Fighting off fierce competition from a number of notable businesses, LAW emerged as the highest ranking organisation in its field and will now progress to the UK final of the contest.
Jane Wright, Chief Executive of LAW, was delighted with the award and said:
“Each member of our team is a highly valued individual, and it is through them that we build strong and lasting partnerships with our clients. Many of our clients have been with us since LAW started trading 10 years ago and so have several of our staff. We believe in giving staff the best possible training and opportunities to shine; we actively reward them on their creativity and encourage team work, because this ensures that clients get the distilled expertise of the entire team. We aim to be the employer of choice in our fields, and as a result, we attract lawyers, HR and health and safety specialists who want to work and think differently.”
Tom O’Byrne, Chief Executive of the Great Place to Work® Institute UK, added:
“Law At Work are a great example of how a small organisation can leverage its strengths to provide a truly top-notch workplace. Emphasising its open, collegiate and co-operative work environment, staff at Law At Work are truly comfortable and engaged in their work, ultimately driving the organisation’s success. We couldn’t be happier with the way Law At Work makes workplace culture central to its business - it is without a doubt sowing the seeds of long-term success."
