An interesting announcement for UK employers...

The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has announced plans to give employers a bonus of £1,000 per employee if they retain furloughed staff beyond the end of the furlough scheme.  Employees will need to be continuously employed until January 2021 and paid a minimum of £520 per month on average from November until the end of January.

We’ll update our guidance with more details of the bonus scheme when they are released.
