Employers have been hit hard by both the disruptive impact of staff absence and its cost at a time when many employers are struggling financially. Managers are often reluctant to formally manage problematic absence particularly where there is no reason to suspect that it is not genuine. This webinar will help you take a reasonable approach to managing absence, balancing up fairness to staff recognising that a level of absence is inevitable, and the needs of the business bearing in mind how disruptive and costly absence can be.
