Law At Work (at the time Empire HR) moved into Empire House in 2008 shortly after the building had been built. Grandholm Village is on the site of the Grandholm Works, a woolen mill established in the 1790s which at the time was the largest linen works in the country. It became the home of J & J Crombie in 1859 and along with it, the world famous Crombie Coat. The mill closed in 1991 to make way for the Grandholm Village.
Aberdeen is well known as being the home of the oil industry in Scotland, and that is reflected by the many energy and service companies supported by LAW.
Empire House is located in Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don, on the banks of the River Don. Law At Work's Aberdeen Office is a modern building, comfortably accommodating 25 staff over two floors. It boasts two boardrooms and a meeting room on the lower floor and a small meeting room on the upper floor. The office is well equipped for client meetings and training courses.
