Extinguisher Training (not including practical) Without creating a fire, we explain what fire extinguishers are used for, how they operate, and where they should be. Half day

IOSH Managing Safely - Approved Assessing and controlling risks; understanding responsibilities and hazards; investigating incidents; measuring performance and protecting our environment.   A 25 question, multiple-format assessment paper and risk assessment based project.  When you pass, you’ll be awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate. 4 days
IOSH Working Safely - Approved Introducing working safely; defining hazard and risk; identifying common hazards; improving safety performance and protecting our environment. Delegates are evaluated using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise.  On completion, they receive the IOSH Working Safely certificate and/or the IOSH Safety Passport as proof of qualification. 1 day
Manual Handling Outlines the requirements of the regulations and how to carry out a suitable risk assessment using HSE’s excellent MAC Tool. Half day
Noise at Work Outlines the requirements of the regulations and how to carry out a suitable risk assessment using HSE’s excellent Exposure Calculator.

Statutory Inspections What exactly do we need, how often and what actions should we take.  The course offers a suitable index for a compliance file.

Supervising Food Safety Level 3

Perfect for those persons responsible for managing food safety businesses with specific responsibility for HACCP compliance and staff awareness training.  A 2 hour written test concludes the course.  It covers microbiology, food contamination hazards and controls, food poisoning and foodborne disease, personal hygiene, storage/temperature control and food spoilage and preservation.
