To complement our public courses and our in-house legal training, the HR At Work team provides a suite of training courses focussed on the softer skills which are required to run a successful business.  We also conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and can design a training strategy for your business.

People management

This interactive course will develop your own professional effectiveness and help you bring out the best in your team. It offers an introduction into the behavioural responsibilities of management and the difference between management and leadership, identifying your management style and what you may need to do differently to boost organisational effectiveness and success.

Coaching

This session is the perfect introduction for those who want to integrate coaching skills into their team. Our experience of facilitating and supporting changes for organisations and individuals has convinced us that coaching is the best vehicle for  achievement and highest performance. This session provides individuals with skills and techniques that allows managers to deliver the very best for their teams.

Handling difficult conversations

This course is for managers or other employees who may have challenging conversations with colleagues or customers, whether about their behaviour, results, or actions. It will equip staff with the necessary confidence, knowledge and skills to engage with people in a productive and focused manner so that the business achieves business objectives and keeps important relationships intact.

Managing Change

This workshop will give you the tools to effectively implement change in your organisation. You will leave with a deep understanding of the Change Curve and how to manage change effectively.  We will also cover the steps to successful change programmes, the different ways in which people react to change, and the management behaviours that are needed in any change process.

Team Building

For any organisation it is vital to have people who work together for the good of the business but also for the benefit of everyone in that team,  sometimes this comes naturally but often it doesn't.  This course will enable you to identify team dynamics, understand the different strengths of the team and how to leverage these.  We will also cover your role in developing a cohesive team and give you tools to be effective.
