Special events - Freedom of Information
Law At Work, in partnership with Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, has organised two ground-breaking events focused on freedom of information law, practice, threats and opportunities. Two key figures in the field will be speaking at the early evening seminars. First, we are pleased to welcome Kevin Dunion, Scotland’s first Information Commissioner who was in post from 2003 until February this year. Our second speaker is John Ashton, Managing Director of Freedom Of Information Ltd, based in London. John is better known as the author of Megrahi: You are my Jury, published in February 2012. David McGowan, an Associate with MMS will also be contributing to the seminars. David is a member of the editorial board of the Public Procurement Law Review
These events are suitable for managing, finance and other directors, senior managers from the public, quasi-public, and third sectors and organisations in the private sector which contract to any of the first three sectors. They will also be of interest to all those concerned about freedom of information.
