“During the time that I have been involved in employment law I have witnessed many organisations fall foul of the ever changing legislation."Ian has over twenty five years experience in management and industrial relations matters. He has extensive experience of giving advice and practical assistance to employers, unions and workers on specific issues relating to employment law and HR Management. He is a former ACAS Advisor and Conciliator and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Ian has a postgraduate MSc in Industrial Relations and is a trustee of the Scottish Human Services Trust - a consultancy, networking and training organisation committed to the social inclusion of disabled people. At Law At Work, Ian’s department provides training for clients on many areas of employment law, including people management, and in management skills. He also gives clients consultancy advice on employment law, people management issues and employee relations. Ian’s particular areas of interest are disability discrimination, collective labour law and industrial relations.
