Steve Briggs (Operations Director)

Steve Briggs has been involved with employment law since the late 1970s, and he has worked in advisory, representation and teaching roles in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.

In 1993 he set up an innovative employment law representation project in central Scotland. In 1996 he moved on to head up the employment law wing of a business advisory service run by a major financial services organisation. In 2001 he joined Law At Work where he holds the post of Operations Director.

Steve inadvertantly spent a number of years in journalism, where he was a specialist writer on education. Journalism also took him to eastern Europe many times during the period which saw one communist regime topple after another. Steve claims no responsibility for these upheavals!
