The changing face of employment law

The government appears determined to make significant changes to UK employment law, and some of these were introduced in April this year.

Details of further changes are not yet entirely clear, and there is an apparent difference of views between the Coalition partners, with the Lib Dems keen to protect employees’ rights, and the Conservatives more focused on making the law employer-friendly.

This seminar will explore what the government is trying to do to employment law; spell out the details of the proposals and recent legal changes, and offer our assessment of their potential impact on current practice and the employment tribunal system. We also want to hear  your views on the impact on your businesses and management practices.

This session is suitable for HR Directors, CEO's and business owners.

Each session will last 90 minutes and is free of charge.  We will convene 30 minutes before the start time for each session to enable you to get some light refreshments and to network with others attendees.  Places will be limited to maximise the opportunities for interaction and participation.
